Who invented Pasta ?

Popular beliefs have indicated that Marco Polo had introduced pasta to Italy in the late 1200s. Moreover, pasta can be traced back to the 4th Century B.C., where in an Etruscan Tomb, has inscriptions of natives cultivating and preparing pasta.
The Chinese have been a noodle producing country since 3.000 B.C.
The first industrial pasta factory was built in 1789 in Brooklyn, New York by a Frenchman who stretched his spaghetti ribbons on the roof of his building in the sunshine !
